Snowflake Wedding Invitation

This snowflake wedding invitation uses a silver color scheme to give that crisp icy wintry feel. The snowflake on this winter wedding invitation was created by stacking six pieces of die-cuts on top of each other.

Supplies for Making Wedding Invitations

  • 5" x 7" off-white metallic color card stock
  • 4.75" x 6.75" gray metallic color card stock
  • 9" length silver color ribbon (1" to 1.5" width)
  • snowflake diecuts
  • silver gemstone stickers
  • bone folder
  • glue
  • toothpick
  • a small piece of foam

Instructions for Making Wedding Invitation:

1. Fold off-white metallic color card stock into half to make a 5" x 7" card.

2. Swipe with a bone folder to give it a crisp crease.

3. Apply glue to left top and bottom of the back of the grey metallic card.

4. Adhere the ribbon to the card by pressing the two ends on glue sections.

5. Assemble the snowflake from the die cuts with the toothpick as shown on the images below.

5a. Get ready the die cuts for the snowflake.

5b. Stand toothpick into a piece of foam and place parts of snowflake die cuts onto the toothpick to centre them.

5c. Apply glue on the centre and stack on top of each other.

5d. Arrange the die cuts into a snowflake.

5e. Remove from toothpick.

6. Apply glue and stick to the front of the card on top of the ribbon.

7. Embellish with silver gemstone stickers.

Sorry, my photography technique wasn't up to par here. The photo here kind of look rather dull but I assure you that the physical card is sparklingly beautiful.

Snowflake wedding invitation text can be printed directly onto the inside right side of off-white metallic card before step 1.

Or you can print the text on a 4.5" x 6.5" light weight paper and insert or paste it inside the card at the end.
